Awards

Constituted by the Natyaalaya a cultural education trust 2011, Natyaratna Award would be conferred on individuals for their distinguished and outstanding contribution to Art & Culture. Preference would be given to recent outstanding work in art, choreography etc. which had a profound effect and response from the society at large.

This year, for the first time, this award would be presented to Mr. Harsha, Director & Choreographer in kannada film industry, for his noteworthy contribution to Art & Choreography in the Kannada Film Industry.

This award is the first of its kind in Karnataka which would be presented to an individual for a distinguished work of art every year starting from 2011.

With the support of more than 200 qualified teachers and trainers, Natyaalaya has flourished over the last 10 years. Natyaalaya offers to teach Western Dance, Salsa, Hip Hop, B-Boying, Popping N Locking, Belly, Contemporary and Indian style dance like Bharatanatyam and Kathak, Odisi, Mohiniattam, Classical Vocal, Key Board, Guitar & Drums From TRINITY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON , Art – Sketching & Painting Affiliated with Karnataka chitrakala parishat– and Fitness classes including power and artistic Yoga, Aerobics And Zumba. Natyaalaya creates an opportunity for the students to showcase their talent on stage twice a year. Budding and well deserving artists are trained for TV reality shows, & Television industry. It had since established an identity of its own; educating art students, promoting budding artists and opening avenues for many art lovers and satiating the basic instincts of many art patrons.
Not just limiting our setup at one place, we have spread our branches at Bangalore’s most rated and prestigious areas depending on the geographical availability to consequent areas covering vast majority of south and north east Bangalore. Branches are as follows J.P Nagar, Jayanagar, Konanakunte, Bommanahalli, Whitefield, KR puram, Ramamurthy nagar, H.S.R Layout, Banashankari, Bilekahalli, Kalyan Nagar, Vasanthapura and BTM layout and expanding over full Bangalore.
